Sputterbirds"Sputterbird" is a rotating teaser for ocean trolling, using vibration and sound attractors. Sound waves generated by its rotation travel through the water to bring fish to you.
See size and color choices in the "Products" and "Store" pages on this website. |
Daisy ChainsMultiple "Sputterbirds" are assembled in line, each one revolving in opposite directions to create tremendous water commotion with minimal line twist. 400 lb Jinkai line assures no line breakage.
See options in the Saucy Lures section. |
Spreader BarsDesigned with three "Sputterbird" teasers directly behind the bar, they vibrate the squids and the trailing stinger, making them swim like they are alive.
Find size and color choices in the "Details" section or the "Store". Custom bars are available for other color, size and line choices |
Saucy Lures
Saucy BulletsWhen pulled behind a Sputterbird or Daisy Chain, these lures vibrate and shake to create a lifelike appearance.
They are "Keel Weighted" to keep the lure upright and hook in the position you select. Like a bait fish struggling to catch up with the teasers, this is the first target for a game fish and an easy meal. Heavier Bullets can be fished without a teaser, using the rounded head to achieve greater depth. A must for tuna! |
Saucy StingersRun this behind a Spreader Bar, Daisy Chain or a Sputterbird , it comes ready to fish and sinks one to three feet below the surface.
The "Saucy Stinger" has a single hook with line protector and Keel Weight (inside the squid). Hook orientation can be chosen but straight up is recommended and maintained at all times. Sizes vary from 9" to 18" in various patterns and leader combos. |
Saucy MachinesThe most popular lure for east coast tuna is now available fully rigged and ready to fish. Use a single rigged 12" Saucy Machine or a Combo Daisy Chain with three Machines and a Sputterbird #4.
Great bait for tuna! Saucy Squid
18" Saucy Squid for building/repairs.
