The Number 7 is designed to be both a "bird" or attractor, creating more splash and noise. Can be fished up to ten knots with bigger rigged baits or lures eight to twelve feet behind it. Offshore it can be rigged as a larger "bird" or "teaser" on an outrigger or center rig, pulling a medium sized lure or rigged bait 4-8 feet behind. Can be used as a teaser tied off with a strong line cleated to the boat, outside of the prop wake as much as possible. A hookless lure behind increases its appeal.
The Number Seven is design to be both a "bird" and attractor, creating a lot more splash and noise. It can be fished up to ten knots and likes bigger rigged baits or lures eight to twelve feet behind it.
