Daisy Chain
Multiple "SputterBirds" are assembled in line, each one revolving in opposite directions to create tremendous water commotion with minimal line twist.
Add a trolling lure or bait to the hidden snap swivel in the last squid to make it a "bird" attractor or use a hookless lure or bulb squid as an attractor. |
Spreader Bar
Designed with multiple "SputterBird" teasers directly behind the bar, it makes the squids vibrate and adds action to the trailing stinger.
The "SputterBird" fins dig into the water and follow the waves, so the bar stays horizontal and avoids diving into the next wave. |
Additional Saucy Lures Products
Saucy BulletDesigned to be run attached to a Sputterbird teaser bait or daisy chain, simulating baitfish struggling to catch up to the teaser. Heavier Bullets can be fished deeper without a teaser, using the rounded head to achieve greater depth. Tuna often prefer deeper targets that appear to be distracted while feeding on smaller prey.
|
Saucy StingerDesigned to be run behind either a spreader bar or daisy chain, the "Saucy Stinger" provides a single hook, chin weight (inside the squid) and internal braided wire to prevent bite-off from "toothy critters"
|
Saucy Machine
The most popular lure for east coast tuna is now available fully rigged and ready to fish. The Combo Daisy Chain with three machines and a Sputterbird #7 teaser gives exciting action to the machines like a small school of mackerel . Rigged and ready to go.

Tuna Teaser
A most realistic teaser with a hinged, wagging tail and integrated weight. Use 600-1000 pound rigging line, at least 20 feet long. Attach it to a cleat just outside the prop wash, watch for competitive fish approaching from the side!
